Am I buying a stolen motorcycle??

Or just offer him your offer minus the lien and go pay it yourself.....
 
If you feel its too good to be true or you think something fishy is going on, just walk away and find another deal. Not worth the headache when you find that the deal you're getting comes along with major issues.
 
If you know where he lives, he would have to be pretty stupid to try and sell a stolen bike. I wouldn't be concerned if he has the ownership to and everything matches.

BUT, he can get the UVIP without leaving his house. You can order it on the MTO site and it gets delivered within a few business days. I've never bothered to get at the MTO, always order it online.

He's not exactly a genius or he wouldnt be under house arrest in the first place
 
Thanks for the help guys! He ended up getting UVIP. Seems everything checked out and VIN matches. Got safey and picking up the bike tomorrow! SUNDAY SEEMS NICE, 14 DEGREES!!!! I can;t wait to ride!!

You guys heading down the Niagara Falls/St. Catharines way? Bunch of buddies and I are going for a group ride around the area on sunday. If you're down this way let me know, always looking to meet more riders
