Just wanted to remind everyone of that.
I got one ticket nearly 3 years ago (will be 3 years in August).
Originally was 85 in a 60 (construction zone on Trafalgar Road). I fought it and the judge reduced the ticket to 15 over, no points, $60 out the door.
The joke is on me though... nearly 3 years later, and my insurance quotes are still more than $200 higher a year than they would be with no tickets.
So that one little screw up... accidentally driving slightly too fast in a construction zone... will end up costing me at least $660 when insurance increases and the fine is combined.
