All Red CBR600RR, is this a decent deal?

Id pay somewhere around 2000 to 2500 for that bike most. And thats if the bike didnt need any work ie sprockets chain fork fluid and brakes.

Also I believe thats more of an orange than red from the look of it.

Agreed. Buddy of mine has that gen cbr and has original fairings and they look nothing like that. Those fairings look pretty bad.

those are aftermarket, the only orange 05/06's were the tribal.. i cant remember if that paint ran in 05 and 06 or just one of the 2 years tho.

I think they're aftermarket fairings because I'm fairly certain the belly pan should be black.

That's harsh, even when factoring in the inflated GTA asking prices. Here's what $2000 - 2500 will get you in Toronto: http://www.kijiji.ca/b-sport-bikes/gta-greater-toronto-area/c304l1700272?price=2000__2500
A 2005 600RR in good shape with 35K on it should fetch between $4K - $5K IMO.

This is GTAM, they can buy anything for below market price.

I bet he can get you F3 for under $10k

I know prices are so subjective to the owner. But realistically depreciation and maintenance takes a huge factor in to purchasing. Lets be honest, owners selling want the highest amount possible. Truth is Ive looked at around 20 bikes when buying and not one has showed me of records of work done. Im not saying owners dont take care, but many either don't keep records or are ignorant to maintenance regimes. Its been talked about to the death about how mods do not add value, unless you are looking for specific things.

This is a bike which is 10 years old. If you can show me or convince me while im doing an initial walkaround that certain things have been done, id pay a bit more than what my initial thought for price is. Otherwise once I purchase im going to have to do an overhaul to cover all the grounds to make sure the bike is safe to ride. I blow my motor in a car, im safe. I blow my motor on my bike doing 60 on two wheels, its a different story.

I havent seen this bike nor could care but the hints are there that its been dropped just by pictures. New fairings, red flag as to why? Most who want a look will say, I will include original fairings. Im not paying for a fixer upper, im paying for a ride ready or bit of work......at 5k im looking a prestine 05 cbr. Price does not justify it.
