"Red" Jacaranda ? My first time seeing them. In Mexico City we had plenty of the lavandish ones. It is also a nice time of the year when they blossom. (But it's a pain to remove the residue they left behind in your car or bike)

If you get a chance to go for a drive, go to the courthouse hill. “Google it” You’re able to see five counties from the viewpoint. It’s one of the most beautiful places to view the changing leafs
Came down from the far north this morning. It’s mostly boreal conifers until Martin River, but south of there the colours were starting in the short forests along 11. Back to mostly green south of Powassan.
