Colours have come in earlier than normal I feel...

I'm hoping to take a run up this weekend if I can get away, or even on the 30th as I've got the day off for Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Will let the group here know if I'm going up hopefully more than 1 day in advance to plan something.

I’m planning a 2-day trip the Thursday before Thanksgiving. Hoping to catch some nice fall colors this time—last year was a bit of a miss. It’s one of the things I really love about living in this big, chilly country.”

Something I miss from Canada - autumn colours and chasing spring down to Virginia.
Jacaranda are starting here tho and other blossoming trees..

Just starting in Herberton where I had Sunday Roast. Jacaranda and a flame tree.

😮 "Red" Jacaranda ? My first time seeing them. In Mexico City we had plenty of the lavandish ones. It is also a nice time of the year when they blossom. (But it's a pain to remove the residue they left behind in your car or bike)

thanks for this!

I’m heading up to Haliburton for lunch on Friday and can’t wait!

Might have to take another day off work next week:)

Going to East Coast on Sunday for a while. Should be perfect timing.
Hey @Wingboy, if you’re in NS part of the east coast.

If you get a chance to go for a drive, go to the courthouse hill. “Google it” You’re able to see five counties from the viewpoint. It’s one of the most beautiful places to view the changing leafs

Came down from the far north this morning. It’s mostly boreal conifers until Martin River, but south of there the colours were starting in the short forests along 11. Back to mostly green south of Powassan.
