Aftermarket fuel pump?

My fuel filter was clogged on my gsxr 600. Not sure it the pump was damaged or not. Was thinking of buying an eBay pump and filter since the dealer wanted $800 for the whole thing. Should I be wary of this?

Before going chinabay I would recommend calling some of the local shops and see if they have a spare one laying around they can sell you.

you didn't mention what year. Replacing the pump is pretty straight forward. I like these guys if you can't find one locally for a decent price

It's for an 07. The fiche doesn't list just the pump part as a separate piece. And the filter is $52.

Yes I do too but the pump in the middle with all the wires going to it doesn't have an individual number and that's what i need. Like this:

His feedback isn't the greatest. I think I would take my chances with a known used pump. Nothing ******** than your day at the track ruined by that pump.

it's 50 bucks, if it were me, i'd take my chances, probably buy two and keep a spare for the track.

I'd get the new chinese one, it's comforting to know the based in North-America seller is confident enough to offer lifetime replacement, providing their phone number, etc.
