I thought GS Trophy is the ultimate ADV competition? Interesting to watch how these behemoths can behave in capable hands

as per flat-track I think all competitors ADV bikes must have full metal luggage attached and fully loaded as it's the whole purpose of ADV to move your house around the world with you

Why not? They race dumptrucks, buses and even tractor trailers.

The best in my mind was at Formula 1 (early 1970s) races where they had the drvers in VW Microbuses
with the pit crews playing monkeys.
