A petite rant

Yes where a key-stroke is hit now and then to make it look like they are working. Get back to work! Christ, they hardly worked when at work so how can they work more from home. And what about all those that need to go to work at Home Depot or Loblaws or my commercial student as captain on a B787-9. Kind of hard to fly an aircraft from home.

PS workers are the biggest whiners.

Working for any level of government is a pic-nik with benefits to die for, all on the backs of tax payers. I could not stand the BS, left years early and took a huge hit on my pension.

Yeah... my picnic has been an extravaganza of violence, assaults, suicides, medical emergencies, Psychological trauma and insane boredom some days...
But... I can handle it, so... I'll take my pension and my severance and all my benefits thank you.

What, and you think you are the only person that works hard? I hear that so often from government employees. If it is so bad, quit and go to the private sector. Try being a roofer. You'll find out what hard work is.

I would never say I work "hard".
I'm so good at what I do it's easy. ;-)
Roofing sucks, but then again whenever someone I meet asks me what I do 99% of them say... "I could never do that".

So who do you work for and what is it that you do?

No big deal, but then you are speaking to someone that believes in the stand your ground law and castle doctrine law. The BS laws we have in nanny state Liberal Canada, you break into my home, bring your own body bag. I have zero mercy.

I'm lost.. what does that have to do with 'gaoler' meaning 'jailer'?

You mentioned it. Same here, I was confused as well when you stated "jailer". Go to post #45 as well.

What is it you do? might be a solid career choice if 99% of the people don’t want to do it.

Guys are there any good insurance companies to quote a new M2 with? My insurance guy seems to have gone AWOL.
Give RiderPlus a call.
Just call every broker and company you can think of.
I recieved a decent quote from NFP, but I think others have had issues.

It used to be, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone these days. Policy has become so woke it's made it a very dangerous job on a number of levels.
The newer people coming up are having a much different experience than us old dogs.
Thankfully I'm on the way out very soon...

NFP offers Echelon insurance and went nuts price-wise this year, so after over 10 years with them, I switched.

Prior to that I was with Riders Plus till they jacked up their pricing.

Its unfortunate that BelairDirect does not offer motorcycle insurance because their car and home rates are great. I have been with them for years.

This is what I mean by no rhyme or reason.

I am with Echelon through Rider Plus.

My rate went way down this year.

Others have reported that Echelon told them that they do not even insure my model bike. Ducati Supersport 950S.

Well what did it go down to as in from what premium last year to the premium this year? Maybe they grossly overcharged you aka ripping you off compared to this year.

Echelon went from $976 last year to $1279 this year, so I switched and am paying $788 for the same coverage.

Who are you getting that deal from?
