A couple of close calls

Well he actually cannot as he is an officer of the law. Needless to say the driver was charged with careless driving.

Glad your brother-in-law is fine. Good thing he kept his cool as the last thing you'd want is an assault charge. Ride safe everyone!

+1....especially middle age woman in minivans. Not being a sexist here. :)
++1 on the middle aged women aspect.

Thursday, I was southbound on Renforth in the left lane just going over the 401 overpass. I signalled to merge right to take the Matheson exit when I noticed (1) a car in my blind spot during the shoulder check and (2) the exit blocked by construction. So, I cancelled my signal without moving over or leaving my blocking position. Just then a Toyota Corolla passed me in my lane on my left. WTF! Middle aged woman driver didn't even let me make my maneuver. She got stopped behind a truck at the construction so I pulled up along side her and tried to get her attention by waving. No such luck; her gaze was firmly fixed forward. So, I banged HARD on the passenger window. Scared the ****** out of her. That got her attention. I wagged my finger "No" and pointed to my left. She just mouthed off at me and pulled away because the truck had now moved. I just thought What an a******.
