I'm still deciding on a bike, don't want to rush into things But thanks for the offer, the bikes looks good.

Thanks to the ninja 300 the honda cbr250 will come down in price. As a first bike the cbr250 offers a price and adequate performance that should not be overlooked.

I heard the R4 is going to be a 250cc and the 4 has something to do with valves. I also heard that it will have duel disks up front.

You are right! I've only seen it referred to as the YZF-250 and thought R4 was a different bike.

Unfortunately this rumor has been recycled over and over on the internet for years after a Japanese magazine photoshopped bits and pieces of an R6 and R1 together and called it the R4. It was their mock-up of what they thought a 250cc inline 4 from Yamaha might look like. If Yamaha does indeed produce a 250cc street bike, I doubt it would be an inline 4 and have duel disks up front. A 250cc street bike doesn't need that type of stopping power. 4 cylinders are not as cost effective in this space when all the other 250cc competitors are singles or twins. Plus, Yamaha seems to be going with triples now in the upcoming R6 and R1.
