40 over ticket effect on insurance?

Hey guys, a couple years ago i got a ticket for going 50 over but went to court and it got reduced to 40 over and i got 3 demerit points. I currently have my g2 and am turning 20 in August. Also if it matters, im a university student who commutes.
I also just got my m2 a couple weeks ago and am now looking to buy a bike. I'm looking towards the ‎2009 Hyosung GT250 or the 2008 ninja 250.
What really worries me is the insurance that i would have to pay
how much am i looking to pay approximately per month ?

OR - Call up the insurance company you have your car with and see if they give you a bit of a discount.

I'd say maybe around $3000 - $3400...

FYI, the 40-over conviction is treated as a minor conviction. It has the same effect on your insurance as if you were only doing 5 over. One minor conviction usually isn't a big deal with most insurers.

Jevco is probably your best bet, but please read my sticky that the other member linked to.

I have four speeding tickets and got a quote from Jevco for about 4 and a half...so i think you'll fair a lot better
