Which way you headed home? Rochester/Buffalo or crossing earlier? If you cross at Cape Vincent ride along the road a bit further to Tibbets Point lighthouse. It's a good photo spot. Sackets harbour is a decent place to head to for food in a few places but Koffee Kove in Clayton is great! They have a huge pie menu if I remember. Proper mom and pop American diner place. Clayton is a good place to stroll around for a bit too.

Kofee Kove was fine for pie and a sandwich but no espresso machine. Settled for tea. Once more the Wolfville Ferry goes untravelled. Got there at 1:10 - next ferry was 2 pm.

Too long so reversed and rode across the 1000 Island Bridge .Easy crossing but not looking forward to trekking home.

Too hot. only 25 actual but feels like 30. SSE wind which helps riding but into the sun sucks. Some sort of traffic problem too on the 401 west. uggh
At least I'm not sitting in it. but no way out til it clears.

all day apparently CTV Toronto: Crash on Highway 401

actually there must have been a second one around 7 pm as I was going through westbound...firetrucks etc.

nice to use the HOV lanes coming across 403

cut that pretty fine for rain too - could see it as I came down the 403
