$30 HID kits shipped to your door via DHL

Da fuq?
That would be like staring at the sun. I hope I never have to see you on the road
It's painful to look at even on a sunny day at noon!!

And I noticed they updated the product on the page I linked, in case anyone is crazy enough to run them, here's the current purchase link (note the ceramic base bulbs, to stop from melting your stock bulb mounts, nice!): http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FREE...300K-6000K-8000K-9005-800-9006/667718685.html

Ordered on Friday at 1:15 pm and just received them now (Monday, 3pm). Waybill says it was shipped DHL Express. Doesn't make sense at this price!! lol.

Let us know how long they last. I give them less than 3 months. (BTW -Winter months when you're not riding does not count )

I will update this thread when they die, If they are like DDM they should be good for a couple years.

are you guys installing these HID kits after doing a projector swap?

otherwise, you're just blinding oncoming traffic, and actually reducing visibility

Majority of people go the cheap quick way and just throw em into their original headlights. Forget everyone else on the road, they got HIDs yo!

Here come the projector nazis lol. Almost as bad as the ATGATT guys
Actually, doing a projector retrofit you are reducing your visibility in corners, those sharp cut-off lines work against you in the corners.
If you set the HID's up properly (Angled down a little more than normal halogens) they don't blind as bad as the guys that just throw them in.

If you dont wear gear you're only hurting yourself. By installing these goofy plug and play kits you BLIND everyone on the road.

i've gotten flashed more with my standard halogens in my SV than I ever did with the HID's in the ninja. Still want to do a projector retrofit tho, it's just fun to do.

Probably cause the people are so blinded they're so focused on not crashing that they dont bother flashing you

But they still do blind.....

My light output with my stock setup is better than hid's. Unless you have projectors, halogen housings are not meant for the heat and light output of hid's.

But everyone wants their bike to look "cool"

Ive been preaching this for years, no one ever listens.

His point is the OEM lenses are not designed for HID intensity or brightness.

Look, get real, you are doing this because its cheap and you think it looks cool and women will want you for it.

:lmao:

So many riders do this.. I've seen near misses and riders blame the other vehicles

I experience this on a regular basis. All the guys who think this is a good idea just take a look at the size of the mirrors on tractor trailers. You cant turn them away and your cab lights up like you're looking at the sun.
Now consider the fact that a large majority of vehicles on the road are trucks...still a good idea?

I also meet these plug and play kits on rural on way roads and i've lost count how many times i was completely blinded.

Its gonna be an amazing deal when a cop takes your bike off the road for having an unsafe vehicle.
