Not sure if this is happening all weekend or if it was just today. They are having a celebration this weekend and have closed the road south of town. Unfortunately the first road south turns to gravel.
If you are heading north watch out for one of those electric signs and if it says detour than detour immediately on the 5th sideroad towards 400 which leads you to 5th line which runs beside 400 all the way up to Barrie. Paved all the way and a better route than 27 anyway.
