250 to 600 steering question...

Do you know and have gone for a ride with 90 percent of street riders?

Riding is like weight lifting, the majority will stack on more weight than they can handle, do an exercise 1/8th to 1/4th way, and tell ppl "I lift x amount" and have chicken legs because they skip leg day. The number I pulled out of my *** =P

As others have said, the bigger rear tire will of course require more effort from you. Riding a SS in general requires more rider effort and input. I really miss my 250 in the city.

Also look at tire pressure, what kind of tires you're running and what kind of riding you do. I had SuperCorsas on before and while they were super sticky running 30/30 on hypersport tires was murder in the cities. Switched to Pirelli Angels and run them at 34/36 (recommended pressure) and it made life a lot easier

Tire pressure has already been mentioned a bunch of times but I'm going to repeat it anyway. Some tires feel very noticeable with only a few psi down while others are harder to discern. Also, how's your posture on the new bike? Pushing down on the bars will produce a similar feeling of not being able to steer. I used to have a F4i and the thing handled great.
