I usually plan for about 350 km per day riding at speed limit or speed of traffic.
Breaks and gas stops are scheduled every 100 to 150 km with early starts around 8:00 am.
Accommodations are usually Airbnb but we do not have to stay at the same location.
Roads are paved but may not have centre lines.
Maps can be supplied in .gps or .kml that will work on GPS units, phones or tablets.
I usually recommend "stalking" software on your phone so we do not have to always ride in sight of each other.
I am semi retired and do most of my trips midweek especially in "cottage country"
Kingston is my home base but we can meet up on the road.
I will supply maps with gas & food stops to anybody who wants them free of charge.
I will however accept donations if you find them to be helpfull.
I will also post a link to previous rides.

Don't "plan it". Just do it. Really!
F that! It's cold outside now. Wait until Spring.

Where are you staying in Denbigh?

Hey it was plus 4 and sunny in Kingston today.
That would be considered prime riding weather back in Alberta.
Getting old and can't read the tiny type on the map anymore!!
That should be Denbigh in the title of the picture.
Found an Airbnb close by.

Been There Done That! Slept in ditches because there was no where else available.
Now I am old and find a little planning reduces the stress.

30 days ride to Tampa?
About 7000 km of secondary hi ways, scenic roads and paved back roads. NO INTERSTATES.
I like to build in a rest day every 5 days of riding to accommodate a sore butt and bad weather.
Tampa is not my destination but simply a place to stop and rest until the next adventure.

I need to hit retirement and have the kids grow up.

My limit due to time is 8-10hrs single day excursions…maybe I’ll convince the wife this year of being cool with a 2-3 day jaunt.

Make sure you tell your kids to get good paying jobs because you fully intend to piss away their inheritance.
I do lots of day rides but mostly mid-week in the Kingston and Belleville area.
Good to see another small bore fan.

Good to hear.
I have stayed at several great Airbnb in Ontario & Quebec.
I will have to post a list of the ones I enjoyed.
