recalls are done, bike is back, they did a pretty good job cleaning it too, a few little blemishes are no longer there

Post recall differences, no more false neutrals, the quickshifter works better and the bike remembers all my settings and doesnt forget them every time I turn it off

I wonder if this had anything to do with that blogger's 1290 that caught fire a while back?

If the bike came back "different", it sounds like they did actually have to do something to yours, not just an inspection.

yeah I think the public was only aware of the wiring recall but there were multiple that they just knocked out all at once
