A male motorcyclist and his female passenger were both rushed to hospital after a hit-and-run on Allen Road south of Sheppard Avenue West on Thursday night.

The male suffered life-threatening head injuries. The female’s injuries aren’t known at this time.

The driver of the car fled the scene, police tell CityNews, but has since been arrested.

There’s no word yet on charges.

Two people have been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle Thursday night.
It happened near Allen and Transit roads at around 10 p.m.
A 24-year-old man and a woman, believed to be in her 20s, travelling on the motorcycle were both transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, a representative with Toronto Emergency Medical Services says.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision at the scene.
