you're pretty limited for after market pipes for these v-star/virago 250 (xv250). most of them have the 'universal fit' and may require rejetting. unless you get a custom made set, the most common ones are the: west eagle drag pipes, jardine straight pipes, and drag specialties which i believe are also straight pipes. if i remember correctly, west eagle has been discontinued, but you may still find them online. they range about 350$ to 500$ a set depending on how/where you're going to buy them.
a lot of people have drilled holes in the exhaust, either the last baffle plate or completely removing the baffle. this makes the bike a little louder (yeah it's a 250). check youtube for instructions and sample notes if you havent done so. this is if you just want to make it louder.
your best bet is ordering them online. i havent seen any local shop who has any in stock. they could 'order' them for you, and im telling you now, it's going to be way more than the online price. good luck.
