Trying to figure out the value of a 2011 gsxr 750 with 33,000km on it. Full exhaust system, tuned, good tires, no damage, canadian bike 1 owner.

Anyone?

Might be able to get 8.5K for it..

- KM is on the high side
- 750's are usually the same price or even cheaper than 600's because of insurance.. more demand for 600's
- Mod's wouldn't increase value - most potential buyers want as close to stock as possible

The tyres, no damage and 1 owner are good bargaining chips though.

Taking into consideration that new is 10 right now, with the km's and extras as long as it's mint I'd say more like 7-8k tops. At 85 I'd rather spend the extra 1500 for new. :dontknow:

To give you an idea, I looked at a 2010 750 with 4000 km on it and he's asking 7200. If you were talking less km then sure it would be higher. Not that 33k is a lot but there's many out there with a lot less. I think your thought of 6-7 km is good for what you're getting.

+1

Seems most people are asking around the $8,000 mark and alot of them have less mileage.
I think you should be good to walk away with $7,000 quickly.

Im laughing cause 8500 is in la la land.
Im thinking more of 6-7k

6-7 is too low.. I recently bought my '07 GSXR with 13K on the dash and modded (full exhaust, pazzo's, alarm kit etc.) for 6K. After a ton of research and seeing many 600's from 2006-2009, I feel as if I got quite a good deal. People don't want to part with their 600's because of the demand for them.

Post it for 8.5K.. if you get anything north of 7.5K I say don't waste your time, effort haggling and take it.

I just sold an 09 zx6r monster ed.(17,000) for 6,000 in excellent condition. With some goodies
Everyone else on kijiji was asking 7 + for theirs,I guess they want to keep them until atleast next spring....
Bikes are generally tough to sell at this time of year, especially dime a dozen sportbikes.I was happy to get 6,000 for mine, their was not a whole lot of interest unless you include the regular wankers that spend their lives on kijiji offering everybody exactly 50 % of the selling price.
I really have no clue what an 011 gixxer should be priced at but 6-7 sounds pretty good to me,I may even have been interested had I not bought my current bike recently.Infact their were no 011+ gixxer 750's for sale at the time I bought my bike, atleast I couldn't find one priced reasonably(that was the bike I was originally after)Sounds like someone is going to get a good deal hereEither way good luck with the sale

You know what, as ridiculous as this sounds, you might actually be able to get something high for it (like 8000+). My friend almost sold her 2012 Ninja 250 @ 20k for 4200. She was offered $4,000 and turned it down (I'm not sure who was more stupid in that transaction).

Considering that people do buy Ninja 250s for $4,000, how hard would it be to get away with a 2 year old gixxer for $8000? I mean it's got 5x-6x the ponies <___<

It's value is exactly what someone is willing to pay.

Two weeks ago I picked up a '2010 750 (stock) for $6500 with 2,185kms - not used since early 2012. Asking price was $7500.

except its not an extra 1500 for new...add dealer prep and taxes and its more like an extra 3500 for new...i do agree with you though, if it were me, i would rather just get a new one
