2007 Buell XB9R - What's It Worth?

A guess...retail....$4500 t0 $5500 but it's really worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

That should be XB12R? I feel it's over priced but you never know these days with the Buells. It's oddball, funky, cool and corners to beat the band. A clean example is probably worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. (cop out, I know)

I was hoping you would chime in.
I'm not looking to buy it for personal use, I have someone who wants to trade it for a Lincoln Navigator I have for sale.
I don't know much about them, so I thought I would get a general idea if I ask here.

If you're saying ~$5K, then it's not really worth it for the kind of money he wants for it.
I thought they'd be going for an easy $6500, no?

Again depends....if the tires were say new...that would be $500 installed..will say. Mostly stock...and ya 15000km is pretty good mileage. I'd say the price is $5000 ish ...I'm sure whoever owns it don't want to hear that...I had to hear that...lol. Mine had awesome acce$$ories too. Not at the rare collectible yet.
They are still able to be serviced at any/most HD dealers...same with parts still available at dealers and the web.

Am I looking at the wrong ad?? How is 15000km around 18k km? and it shows 1203cc so it's no XB9....in any case if not buying to lovingly cherish then it's worth no more than what the Kool guy says....

The one in the ad I posted was just for comparison.

On a trade in to a dealer...they would be lucky to get around $3000

The 900's aren't that easy to sell, everyone wants the 1200.
But I think they had most of the bugs out of them by 2007 (except the drivebelt).
However I was interested in one that had a broken drivebelt on order and it took 6 weeks for the Harley dealer to get it.

One time mine broke...ya called dealer and 3-6 weeks....got 2 from California in 4 days for the price of one from Canada. American Sportbike has most maintenance items for Buells.

$4.5K at absolute most.
$4K is reasonable.
$3K low end.

Guy asking $9K is smoking way too many hard core "leisure" items...

You have to consider the difficulty to get parts (had an 1125r before it was totalled by my neighbour, and parts are a pain in the butt). If you can work on them yourself, great. If you can't, then god bless you and best of luck. I've dealt with 2 HD dealers that are Buell authorized, and both of them left a sour taste in my mouth. Stay FAR away from Jacox - had nothing but serious problems with them, well documented in a previous thread here on GTAM.

The 900 is a nicer bike to ride than the 1200. Smoother and better power delivery- just less of it.
Very cool bikes. Once you ride a sportbike with a tubular dirtbike style handlebar in tight twisties and city traffic, you'll never wanna streetride a supersport again.

Exactly my thought after getting my Superduke.
