Hey guys, gearin up for the new season and am most likely selling my bike

Was looking around and considered mayb picking up a nice mint example of a 1996 zx6rr N1. I've always loved this bike since I was a kid. And having a piece of sportbike history as my daily driver would be a dream come true.

Are they likely to hold their value in the coming years? I've seen conflicting opinions on value. Ranging anywhere from 4k-9k. Would it be considered sacralidge riding a rare zx7rr on a daily basis.

Buy it. Ride it.

As much as older sportbikes don't hold their value the ZX-7s seem to still be sought after. Don't expected to get any more than what you paid for in a few years, but I would think it would hold it's value if it is in good condition.

I'd say buy it and enjoy it. They're really nice bikes, I've been enjoying mine for quite a few years now, and not planning to get rid of it any time soon. As long as you look after it, and keep it in good shape, it will hold some value, especially the rr.

Mass production Japanese bikes, even the semi-rare ZX-7RR, rarely command high collector prices. At least with a 1996, Jevco doesn't surcharge.
