Had the day off and went riding in Muskoka.
118 east of Bracebridge is beautifully freshly paved black asphalt....right up until about 7 km from Carnarvon (just east of Bobcaygeon Rd) where it turns into alternating grooved pavement and hard pack dirt/gravel.

As others have already mentioned, riding around in traffic gets boring fast.

...also, if you're new to the area, remember: it is illegal to cross the double yellow line down there. As well, warning other motorists of the presence of police in the area (flashing highbeams, tapping your helmet) is considered obstruction of justice.

Just stay in one place. Either right in robinsville or at the deals gap hotel (really a motel) at the cross roads of time (129 and 28 ), or if you want fancy and comfortable, Fontana village resort
