    Ford government proposing photo radar

They're called bumpers for a reason. They're supposed to be used for bumping. Silly Canadians wasting money by not using all the features of their vehicle as intended.

Ashbridges parking now that Bixi hijacked our spots

Where did all the beautiful bikes go that used to park in front of the Tim's on Northern Dancer every weekend before the city hijacked the area with those ridiculous Bixi slots? Y'all have me paranoid that I'm gonna get a ticket one of these days, taking up a spot beside a pedal bike. I miss...

    Motorcycles + Snowboarding = Snowbikes!

    Very cool. Can it wheelie?

    Usless / unnecessary bike tech

Anti wheelie control. I mean, why bother riding at that point.

Anybody have a Waxed Cotton Jacket?

Funny enough, nakkers, Klim was what gave me the idea in the first place after looking through their adventure catalogue. I'd prefer something more urban oriented, though.

Anybody have a Waxed Cotton Jacket?

Per title. I'm curious as to people's experience with the material. I've read that it loses waterproofness over time, tends to crack, and otherwise doesn't age well. I'm guessing leather is still the best choice for longevity and aging? I've been looking at jackets on the polar opposite...

High mileage riders. Some advice needed

I'm not worried at this point; I have no issue putting a few hundred mL of oil every few 1000km. I was more curious as to what people's experiences are with older bikes. Thanks for everybody's reply!

What are we considering as high speed for the purposes of this discussion? Google isn't helping me.

    Angel GT vs PR4

Hmm... Interesting. A little googling tells me that the best ST tire is between the Roadtec 01 and the Conti Road Attack 3, with the Angel GT in a close third, which wasn't coming up before. I have a different decision to make now.

High mileage riders. Some advice needed

The bike is a 2006 SV650, using Rotella T for the past few seasons. I've never noticed any consumption before and I've had her since new. Say what you will about the SV, she's my baby for the next few years at least. I'm just overly forward thinking. Thanks all!

Sore Balls after only a day of riding

Sounds like it blue balled you. Bigger bikes are much more satisfying.

    Angel GT vs PR4

So, besides the stock Dunslop donuts that came with the bike, I've had every iteration of the Pilot Road since the 2, and it was always better. I haven't tried the Angels yet, so I'm curious. Most of my riding is commuting, rain or shine, with an occasional hoon thrown in the mix. Anybody who's...

High mileage riders. Some advice needed

I'm coming up on 78000km, and noticed that she's starting to burn a little oil. 7000 km so far this season, and it went from the top fill line to bottom one, which got me thinking. At what point do you consider to retire your ride? I'll keep this bike until the end, which should be another few...

Both. Electrical went out, and engine shut off.

    Front Triple Tree Stands

I'm looking specifically at Venom, Woodcraft, and Pitbull front triple tree stands. Any recommendations, things to look out for, stay away from, general experience would be appreciated.

    2006 SV650S // Intermittent Electrical Issue

Hi All, I've had an intermittent electrical issue crop up starting yesterday. The digital speedo will show erratic numbers, like go 76, 77, 149, 79, when accelerating. Restarting the bike has seemed to make it go back to normal. This morning, it was showing 254 km/h starting off from my...

    Chain & Sprockets

I noticed that before I bought my rubber. Just wanted to get some feedback, since I know f all about chains and sprockets, other than I need new ones. Good God, does the Royal website blow. No search function, and the 'chain' link in the index takes me to snowmobile chains. lol

    Chain & Sprockets

So after 55 000km, it's time to replace the chain and sprockets. Where can I get the best deal for a kit (preferably with a chain tool)? I was looking at D.I.D. and RK, but really my only criterion is that it's gold. :) Also, is Pete's still the best place to deal with for tires?

I clogged my toilet with Carrots! FIXED!!!!

It looks like there's a lot of people having problems with their crappers around here. Here's a solution I came across that not only keeps your toilet tip-top, but also shampoos your cat. Toilets are great fun, but they occasionally have to be cleaned. The following steps should be adequate to...
