From what I've read/heard, Accelerated Technologies is one of the best around in our region. They will be switching my forks to adjustable cartridges early April. Price seems pretty good from the get go. Downside is how far they are.
Pretty much this. Get the M1, do M1 exit course. Then buy the cheapest and lowest cc bike that qualifies as a standard motorcycle and ride that for a year. I saw a huge drop in insurance after one year.
I have a 2014 3 gt and its been great. Bought used in 2021 for $11k with 80k km. Zero rust at 180k km now. All I did was replace brakes, early oil changes and did a front suspension refresh this past fall. Drives like new and has the fancy pants android auto/carplay which is nice for the age of...
I've had 1 bad encounter with a cop almost 15 years ago while in my car but it was my own fault. Over the past 5 years though I've been pulled over twice with my gf bailing me out both times with a side of white privilege.
1st time, we go out to dinner/have a drink to celebrate the new house...
33 yo here. Fell off my bicycle last year and landed on my elbow/knee. My knee is purple now, my elbow still hurts if I rest it on something and I get a sharp annoyance in my ear if I mention it to my gf

A 600?? Didn't you just crash less than 2 months ago on a bike with like a third of the power? Seems like this is the heart talking and not the brain. Insurance is gonna rape you on a 600 as well.
Not in any particular order but if I were shopping, it would probably be one of the sub 1000cc bikes.
R1 - I "learned" on one years and years ago. Wanna see if its still scary
MT09
R7
RC8R
Super duke
Daytona 675
Street triple 675
Speed Twin - I like the look but not sure if it would be my kind...
As far as I know you're probably gonna need to blow another few hundo to get a fuel controller to get that race map on your bike unless buddy has a way to modify the actual ECU. I've got a couple maps. Power map from Rottweiler, my dyno tune from Champion cycle and a map from Chad at...
May as well go all in and get a power commander, big injector and open up the airbox. I got a couple maps I can send your way if you decide to go for it
