    Hwy 407 question.

Here's to being unpredictable... I'm retired and don't travel to work - just to play at all different times. Going to try and see, if I get a charge etc. I will post the damage. Wish me luck! Weeee - see you out there!

    Hwy 407 question.

407 is 150km-ish long 40-50 cents per klick... I'm going with the fine thank you route - no points I ride from Ajax to Oakville it is not an insignificant amount of money. They should make it free for motorcycles just like they did the HOV lanes.

    Hwy 407 question.

No plate is $85. Obstruct plate $85 Etc. I do one run from far east to far west in a day and we are looking at about the same cost.

    Hwy 407 question.

PS. If not free, it should be a huge discount for motorcycle, two wheels vs four, 600-1000lbs vs car and truck weights. 25% of a car or truck rate.

    Hwy 407 question.

JUST WANTED TO ADD... I reckon the 407 should be a gift to motorcycles, we paid for it with taxes and they gave us the HOV lanes so, applying similar logic, let the bikes ride free! I have avoided charges by hugging the guardrail as you enter and leave the highway through the PIC gates. NOT...

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2021 Edition)

Street bike Ginny is parked down in the basement, on stands with battery tender. Getting dirt bike Sally ready, new tires, ice racing studs, chain saw on the back rack - time to clear trails and hit some trees. What else to do in snow and ice? No heated clothing or grips, usually hot and...

    Handles

For clarity - both K1200RS were called ILSA - "The black and blue twins"! The blue one became the 3-wheeled car because it needed a new clutch.

Thanks Mate! Bike seems to be running fine so I am pouring on the miles/km. Hardest part is keeping the back tire from spinning, looks like back tires don't last long on this one!

Oh Hey now! Good news... I figured somebody would, that was a good deal eh? So I guess nobody has a manometer in the fair city Toronto? It's pretty tough going with all the lockdown stuff... I guess it's time for me to shutup and ride it like ya stole it! Cheers!

The KERKER is now adapted to my YOSH 4to1 single can. It is a home brew, I hacked the mid-pipe out of the right side stock exhaust and they fit. Inside that pipe on the stock exhaust is really small bore glass pack muffler - I was a bit shocked. I came from BMWs and the big fatty bags caused...

Good news, bad news story... Good news: I have new plugs, fluids, clean filter and airbox - ready for a good thrashing. Bad news: "I found a manometer" - my buddy bought a really stupid cheap Chinese set of 4x gauges We hooked it up and the needles jumped around like a bunch of ferrets on coke...

Thanks folks! I found a 4-pot manometer, just finished the engine fluids, airbox and filter clean, spark plugs, brake pads, etc. Now to sync the throttle bodies - I think I will go for a dyno run next, just to see how close or far off I have it. After 20 years of a horrible factory setup, gross...
