    @larz, I want one of those things. Have you had any issues with the cops considering they don't have pedals? Ideally I'd love to get one for comminuting in town plus some trail adventures. Where did you buy it? Directly from China or from a local supplier?

    @jc100 , I do miss my SAT but the SAR is really growing on me. The favourites (quick) menus are actually better on the SAR to adjust TC and driving modes. The new bike still has all the other electronic wizardry including the $500 quick shifter software toggled ON. I’ve got the manual...

    Nice to have more than one bike in the stable. My wife only lets me have one so I needed a sport bike that doubles as a dirt bike. :)

    Got another KTM. I put 65,000kms on the T(ouring) and just got a 1290R. Time for another 65,000kms. :)

    Congrats! I too went for a euro bike (KTM). They are sort of like having a super model girlfriend... A bit more maintenance but worth it!

    So after almost a year of deliberations I decided to buy the 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure. I own a 2005 Suzuki Katana 750 and have put 80,000kms on it. It's been great but I thought it was time for something a bit different (and a bit the same). I want to get into a bit of (soft) off...
