In preparation for next weeks sojourn the KLR got a new back tire, and chain check/adjustment, new battery, and I adjusted the doohicky (balancer chain tension). This weekend it gets new oil and filter.
My buddy gets dried chicken pooh pellets (HomeDepot??) which he mixes up with water to make a slurry. When he lifted the lid it was so foul! He says after adding that you can practically hear it grow. I think it's too smelly for the Squeeze.... Yeah I know it's coming.

Went ahead and ordered the kit in post #23. It will need some extras added on. I think I'll assemble it with a can of silver paint in hand to coat all the cut ends. They were already starting surface rust when I looked at a brand new one.
