    thieves

I'm going to vote that ********* was stealing. Unless it's given, then, by definition, it's stealing. Since you have no way to know if he is correct till after he's gone, then calling him out on it is what I'd be doing. Besides, the store clerk needs to inventory ALL the papers dropped and...

Is it legal to set up cones in an empty parking lot to practise ?

My dad, who was a lawyer, once told me of a case where, one winter, a guy broke a window of an elderly woman's home while she was not there, climbed into the house and started carrying stuff out of the house. On one load, he slipped on some ice and broke his arm (I think that was it. Was a long...

    Condo Parking Theft Deterrent

If a thief really wants something all your trouble and chains just slow them down. I'd recommend engraving parts with the bike's VIN and park it in a very well lit space in a very well traveled spot. Make sure people in the area see you on on the bike a lot so when someone else is fiddling with...

    soooo... ever seen this before?

Just my $0.02 but how much is your life worth to you? If that swing arm was suppose to have a hole in it, it would have one before the rubbing. On a side note, what was loose enough to cause it? Replacing it won't do any good till you identify the root problem. Sent from my iPhone using...

Things you wished a motorcycle course taught

The one thing that baffled me was what bike to get first. No one should twist the throttle on a 1K before they have some experience. But how many do it anyway? I think a general walk through of good things to look for in a good fist bike, including how long you should expect to be riding it...

    Stoplight Sensors

I have come upon this problem at my underground parade at home. A number of years ago, I read an article about this and here's what it said to do. The "pressure plate" is really a resistance wire and bikes can get a better chance of tripping it by putting the tire on one of the cuts and riding...

Am I the only crazy1? SS and a cruiser simultaneously.

Didn't know that. Don't have one yet. :) I ride an FZ6R. Sent from the void.

Am I the only crazy1? SS and a cruiser simultaneously.

I think that the two bikes serve different rolls. You wouldn't take a sport bike on a ride to Calgary and you wouldn't expect a cruiser to be used around town. Lots of riders own multiple bikes. I say if you want it and can afford it (not to mention convincing the other half it's a good idea)...

    Locks

Most often, I find any theft deterrent system/device is just that, a deterrent. It's meant to convince the thief to move on to the next bike. If your expecting it to prevent the theft all together then I suggest you get comfortable riding the bus. Just sayin'...
