    MRA Vario windscreen

I had one on my last bike and one now on my VFR800. MRA's windshields are high quality, very thick unlike the paper thin zerogravity shield i was using before. The adjustability is really nice, if its windy/rainy/cold I can pop the shield up and deflect most of the wind, if its hot I can put...

when does every one stop riding??

Just put the bike away today....with all the rain these days its impossible to plan anything and its only getting colder. I was overdue for an oil change anyways so it wasn't too much extra work to throw in some stabilizer and pull the battery.

Stay away from the Forks this weekend

forks my ***! I can't stand this road, weekends, weekdays, doesn't matter...without fail I'm always stuck behind a dodge grand caravan driving with their brakes going 20 under the limit.

    Michelin Pilot Road 4's

    Anyone touring this weekend?

I chickened out and took the cage to Ottawa...I had to be in good shape when I came back today. Was cold and rainy on the way down saturday so I'm kind of glad I skipped that. This season has felt unusually short so I want to get one more weekend tour in if possible...

    Anyone touring this weekend?

I have to head up to Ottawa this weekend and was planning to take the bike, but with all the rain I might take the cage. The rain is forecast to be more or less 10mm/day so it doesn't seem that bad, I could put on my waterproof textile onesie with my heated jacket so I'll just see how I feel...

    Touring gear recommendations?

I've spent way too much on gloves only to learn that there's no such thing as waterproof gloves...or at least they don't stay that way for long. I took apart my last pair of Racer gloves with a Hipora membrane and the membrane was basically just looked like a plastic bag melted into a subpar...

    Pennsylvania's booked up this weekend!

The battery saver seems to work, when the bikes off the green battery saver light comes on after a little while so they shut down. The length of the grips was a bit weird and that's my only gripe, the throttle side is a perfect fit, but theres a 1/4" gap on the clutch side between the grip and...

    Pennsylvania's booked up this weekend!

I got a set of Oxfords, the ones redesigned for this year which were designated for "touring". The only difference from the previous generation it seems is that they've added a feature where it won't drain your battery if the bike is off. I honestly find these more comfortable that the Kuryakyn...

    Pennsylvania's booked up this weekend!

Pretty nice day in PA, started in Clearfield, went up Wykoff's run, then 120 east and then 44 north up to Olean, took the 219 back. The worst of it was getting back home what with the Gardiner closed. This is the first ride I've done this season where my wrists weren't in pain after. I used to...

recommended base layer for colder rides?

I use a knockoff of under armour coldgear from eastbay, I also have silk glove liners, Balaclava, etc. And then those chemical hand and toe warmers from Canadian tire or dollarama come in handy too. I also have a gore windstopper cycling jacket which is incredible at dealing with cold. Its...

    2014 R6 Motorcycle Stolen

@phelan I'd hope so...the chain I have i have is by Kryptonite, they offer $1250 of insurance if your bike gets stolen while secured by the chain. They also boast all kinds of certifications. At the end of the day if a thief is determined enough though.... If I ever caught someone trying to...
