Small update.. I called insurance and filed the claim.they said 24-48 hours to get some adjuster to review my claim and all that. Guess I have to wait. Ill give them a call to ask bout towing billing insurance directly to take it from the police lot to the dealer for a proper appraisal.

I do have witnesses but he took responsibility at the scene and in the report it clearly states he was at fault. I think that's enough no? Should I get it towed to a dealer then? And then get then to do an appraisal? and yeah it's gutwrenching knowing it could be written off over such a stupid...

I`m not saying cash is bad. I bought my bike with cash $11000. What i`m saying is, if he`s worried bout the guy not accepting certain bills he can just ask what he wants and go to the bank and get that. Since I assume most people dont have that money lying around. That is all.

Why would you accept 100s. Also, unless you have $5g (or w.e it is) under your mattress you`ll most likely go to the bank. Ask the guy what bills he wants. You can take out $5g in $5 bills if you tell the bank in advance. So i don't see how that`s an issue.
