The commute back surprisingly was a lot easier...AND the flags didnt indicate a tailwind. Oh well.. doing this twice a week is gonna pay off
a little late to get beach ready since we're back from vacay but whatevs, gotta lose the winter weight
Did my first bicycle commute of the year.
I'm out of shape. Out of the "flow". Just out of it.
Also forgot to start my bike computer for the first few km.
Hands hurt half way to the point where the shower was PAINFUL...i thought i was gonna warm up more than i did at 4C but i didn't.
Oh well...
Saw some dinosaurs
Had some people parked on the roads and then long lineups going towards oakville
I then settled in a field an let my timelapse capture the rapture
Had awesome sleep while i was on vacay. (left on the 29th got back on the 5th)
Did not work out at all though but had an amazing step count
Also hurt my thumb there so i thought it was a bad idea to play with the barbell
well funny enough... a lot of folks there used to ride motorbikes "back home"
buddy at work (never would've imagined it) was a track enthusiast where he and his buddies would rent out the track all the time
and i mean every single time i come in with my helmet the stories come out left right...
i mean you develop some kind of 6th sense that can't be learned while being protected by all the car paraphernalia. You are isolated from the fact that you're going at speeds that a human shouldn't be going at which hinders the danger sense that you SHOULD be having even in a car going those...
We have some friends doing regular provincial park camping at algonquin this summer, part of the family can't make t so i kinda wanna take the daughter backpacking into their backpacking trails. From what i saw, Eastern pines would be more appropriate for her level.

The issues were
- i'm new at soldering
- those pads were tinier than the wires i wanted to use for colour coding i had (i had awg24 black, shouldve used awg28) so much easier to bridge by accident which made me resolder these 2-3 times
