OP, not trying to put the blame on you by any means in saying this, but try to keep an eye out for where you are in relation to the other cars when they are cutting you off. Being on a motorcycle means you are smaller and less noticeable on the road, making you more susceptible to falling into...
well my real debate isn't necessarily whether to fight it or not, I just started the thread to see what other's experiences were with having the cop show up. The only way it's worth it for me is if the cop doesn't show up and the whole ticket gets thrown out. So, if I see that most of the time...
Well the problem is that it's already reduced first of all (I ended up getting a 15 over ticket when I was actually doing 46 over). Also, the loss of pay from taking a day off work won't be even close to the $52 I save if they reduce the fine. It wasn't a group of cops doing radar, just one...
haha if I was a baller I probably would be riding something nicer than an '04 zx6r ;). I don't think one ticket will make a significant difference on my insurance, so it's not really that I'm worried about...it's if I get a second ticket later. Then I'm effed.
That's what they thought too when I asked them why it was so different, but they had quoted me that as well at the time and it would have been $52 with a car policy, so that wasn't the case.
Hey guys,
I got a ticket the other day and I'm trying to weight out my options to see if it's worth taking a day off work to fight this thing or not. I've pretty much figured it out that the only way it is worth it is if the ticket is completely dropped, which will most likely only happen if...
I had the same effin thing happen with SF when I bought my ZX6R this year. My original quote from them was $75/month, long story short, I bought the bike and am now paying $130/mth. Still not bad, but enough of a piss off to be paying almost double what I was originally quoted! I feel your...
Turned out to be more than just one thing. I ripped the whole thing apart, and found that the adjustors were messed up and improperly set, and the throttle grip had somehow moved down the handle bar and was sticking on the bar end, and on top of that the cables needed to be lubed. So much...
Will do :). My bike is actually out of commish right now because of some SEVERE throttle stickage but I'm hoping to fix it tonight...instead of making it worse like I did last night... FML.
