    Throttle hand/arm going numb?

I get this all the time. To be clear, I think the OP is talking about loss of blood flow and not numbness due to vibrations, am I correct? I get it only in my right arm and I frequently need to pull in the clutch and coast for as long as I can and shake some feeling back into my hand. I'm pretty...

Bike won't start from ignition but battery checks out

lol... FINE CC... always good advice but I'm sure that wasn't the case... what's funny is that I was sitting there with the kickstand down, wondering why it wouldn't start when it dawned on me... palmsmack... but sadly, even with the kickstand up, it still wouldn't start. I tend to agree with...

Bike won't start from ignition but battery checks out

I stored my Honda Rebel 250 in my father-in-law's garage over the winter. He has a Motomaster trickle charger thingy and said that he'd take care of the battery over the winter so I removed the battery and gave it to him before I covered up the bike for storage. This spring, I put the battery...

Renting a Motorcycle in the States

I guess another way to put this would be... Am I allowed to ride my bike south of the border with my M2? If I got pulled over, would they care that it wasn't a full M license?

Renting a Motorcycle in the States

Rental places say that they require that you have a valid motorcycle license but the ones that I've looked at don't seem to indicate whether an M2 is ok or if a full M is required. Specifically, I'm looking to rent one in Arizona while I'm there on business in March. Our M2 seems, for the most...

    Motorcycle Parking

Actually, I discovered that the ticket you get from the meter has two parts to it. You simply tear it along the perforation and keep the receipt part in your pocket while leaving the other half on your bike. That is your proof.

    1999 Honda Rebel 250

Bought this as a starter bike last year and now I'm ready to move up to something larger. Professionally stored last winter with full tune-up in the spring. Added saddle bags and a new rear tire as well. Runs great and served its purpose as a first bike. It allowed me to learn and gain the...

Motorcycle hits deer on hwy 97

A buddy of mine just came across this accident on his way to work. An 1100cc motorcycle hit a deer along Highway 97. An off-duty paramedic was one of the first responders on the scene but it didn't look good. The rider looked to be in his 60s. if anyone out there learns more about this...

Funny How the Public Views Motorcyclists.....

You assumed intimidation, perhaps it was admiration? Or simple curiosity? Or maybe the old ladies really were checking out your package? ;-)

    Close Call!

Easy dasiffy. We don't want to be too hard on the OP. No one should have had to go through that but you do make a good point... Riding a bike has to make you a better operator of a vehicle than everyone else. You have to ride as if everyone is out to get you and maybe that's what dasiffy meant...

    Noob ride in Burlington

I'm a relatively new rider on a Shadow 750 cruiser and I'd love to start riding with others. I'm not picky about what kind of bike you ride, just that you ride safe and you're willing to learn/share about riding together. I'm thinking about meeting up at the Tim's at Walkers and Dundas and...

    the "wave" - riding etiquette

Ebike riders are motorcycle riders that just haven't built up the courage to do it right yet. I like to encourage them. If they're on two wheels and they're brave enough to be on the road then, why not? They're like the little kids on the side of the road and suddenly I'm now the trucker. I...

Lots of police and an ambulance when I went to Burito Boys on Friday night. Looked like they were cleaning up after a car t-boned a cruiser in the intersection. Anyone know what happened or how the rider is doing?
