I do agree investing is a more sensible approach but the aftermarket exhaust is louder than the stock which I prefer because I would like to be heard in advance of car drivers to assure them there is a biker nearby. My starter I sold last year had a full Hindle exhaust and I quite enjoyed the...
killerkeith I'm not seeking attention with whatever insinuating manner of which you are implying.
My full intention was to get advice and/or opinions from members with well-informed knowledge and experience. I'm seeking for an affordable exhaust with a decent to high quality built. I like...
My cbr250 will be my bike for a while longer because unfortunately I'm petite in height so my choices of brand bikes are limited. Most importantly, I do not like the look of the stock.
My preference of an aftermarket exhaust for my cbr250, is the FMF. It looks sporty and the sound is just right!

I ride a 2011 CBR250RAB. I don't want to spend too much money on a new exhaust but I want replace the stock exhaust. Any recommendations on one that's not too loud and one that's very affordable?
Hedo2002, whether it's "apprehension" or "fear" base, I have it. I guess it stems from my line of work in personal injury. I've dealt with all sorts of accidents and it makes one think how precious life is. I love to ride but I need to develop confidence especially with having a fairly new...

I'm sure "ride scared" meant ride defensively and always know one's surroundings with caution.
As for 'inreb', I think he was trying to spice things up. I appreciate his mind-set as to not let fear set in and take riding with pleasures and with a sense of humour...
Were you scared from the first back after the accident? What mind set did were you on and what did you say to yourself to overcome your fear?
BTW, I welcome all positive support. I like to keep an open-mind and hear everyone's thoughts and experiences.
