The ZX14 and 2nd Gen SV650 is the same length 330mm that's why I used this shock. I have the shock on my 05 track bike now and the installation was much easier without abs pump in the way.

I am new to track days also. Last year a built an 05 sv650 that I picked up for cheap and then swapped zx14 rear shock and racetech springs and gve from my 07 street sv650 that I sold. The bike has 56000km on it and I have hammered on it for about 300km since my into to track and 2 track days at...

I remember seeing a post some time ago regarding personal injury insurance for track day riders.

.Apologies to the riders today my gas light started to flash. I thought I had enough for the ride. I was trying to fall to the back but missed a turn instead. Hopefully nobody waited for me to return.
Big thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. I passed today in Peterborough. The examiner Thomas was very pleasant and professional. The first radio had two ear plugs but was cutting in and out during the pre test checks. Switched to another one that only had a single in the ear plug...
