i also had the Suomy Apex. compared to my current AGV Grid, it was lighter and quieter. also made in Italy (AGV Grid made in China) if that matters to you
things my AGV Grid is better for: easier to change visor, better ventilation
bump
relisted due to flaker. made me wait a week, promised full payment, tried to haggle twice, said items were not as in good condition as they were, and even tried to trade me a macbook sigh
fs: 2010 Ducati Monster 696/796/1100 OEM spare parts muffler airbox signals rearset
Hi,
I have 8 items for sale for the newer generation monsters. All parts are Ducati OEM, and came off a 2010 696 with ~3500 km. All parts are interchangable with the 796. They are also interchangable with the...
i don't save my sources and i don't remember where i read it, but you are right; the website now states the following:
"Shell V-Power premium gasoline in Canada does not contain ethanol"
http://www.shell.ca/home/content/can-en/products_services/on_the_road/fuels/shell_vpower/
it actually doesn't seem that loud. the can is on the bottom of the bike. i think i want to pretty much replicate the NCR's exhaust

thank you for your honest answer. yeah i am gonna leave it up to them
i am not looking to make more noise. as stated in the original post, i am mainly trying to cut weight. any additional power gained would be kind of a bonus. if i wanted a more powerful bike, like ScubaSteve said, i'd just...
thanks for your replies guys
Brian P, can you elaborate on the importance of the length of piping? what would a shorter overall length yield vs a longer length?
i am not really concerned with aesthetics, and mainly intended to trust their judgement in the matter. i was just wondering about...
the only full system i have found for the 696 is by GPR in Italy for about 1850 EUR (~$2400 CAD)
i understand that i can't just be like, "i want 56mm diameter tubing", but FF by Fresco makes ready to buy exhausts and custom ones. would it be ill advised to trust them to design a well working...
custom exhaust system questions
i am looking to get a full custom exhaust made by Fresco in Italy and i was wondering if anyone has any experience or tips. i am mainly trying to cut down weight and so far all i know is that i want it in Titanium and for the routing to be as straight/simple as...
yeah it's hit and miss. i've ordered from them without fees on ~$450 of merchandise
they mark down the value too, but you can still get hit. it's shipped USPS Express Mail International (~$50 for a helmet) if i remember correctly
agree with others, report it before they do. the 2nd guy was likely there to be a false witness rather than box you in (not really needed, you can only reverse with your feet anyway)
and not that it warrants acts of violence like your incident and that video bluerider posted, but were you...
many of the key points have already been covered
sometimes the price differences are too large to ignore. i agree that service is worth paying a surcharge for, but that really depends anyway. if you're trying on helmets for the first time, and you have a sales associate helping you, yeah you...
my monster 696 is fine but i buy non-ethanol gas. Petro canada 91 is supposed to be ethanol free. i found a clear cut answer on their site before but now i'm having trouble
question 4 shows that 91 doesn't have ethanol whereas 94 does

certain nakeds like Suzuki's SV650 and Ducati's Monster series are not surcharged. Unless they have made a 2012 change (which i'm pretty sure hasn't been released yet), your broker is likely just misinformed
doesn't matter if...
you could get a Monster 1100. it won't be surcharged with Jevco. i'm with them on a Monster 696
2upping is very comfortable on the full sized passenger seat. tons of torque
other good recommendations were street/speed triple and b-king
i would think that the clear difference is that someone is dead
someone is drunk and swerves off the road and hits a fire hydrant. no one is hurt. if instead after swerving off the road the driver hits and kills a person, according to your logic it's not different?
like others, i'm not calling...
well to be fair the dealer said, "it was laid down." i think if i was buying a used bike i'd want to know whether it was simply laid down or hit a car at speed
thanks for the replies guys, will try rain-x
i have heard of the sideways head thing but have yet to try it
@MacDoc, in my opinion a larger windscreen than the mini one on my monster looks pretty ugly lol
