The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

LOL DJ Rain, not surprised. I had the unfortunate experience of working with them. Attitude was brutal, they didn't keep the contract long.

Bike Shop in Milton - "Ace Moto Tech" - Customer Recommendation

Adrian looked after the transmission on my Street Triple over the winter. Great service and the shift issue is all cleared up. I'm very happy to have someone local who I can trust with my bikes.

    "On the go group rides"

I'm much happier if a rider forms up behind me. It gives me the impression that they know what they're doing. I've been stuck behind a bike in traffic only to have them wander all over their lane. I made space as quickly as I could because I had no idea if they were predictable or not.

Copy of the M Test (M2X) checklist!

Passed today in Burlington, yey! The advice in this thread covers everything nicely. One of the best tips I picked up was to put an earplug in the ear without the earpiece. It definitely made it easier to hear the instructions clearly.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

To the guy on the grey BMW adventure bike doing 110kph and blocking the fast lane of the 401 (west end) last night: did you not see the angry drivers within inches of you? You're going to get smoked pulling that stunt.

    Personal Rules for riding...

ya, heck you have to watch out for that stuff even when you're in your cage! Someone is always turning into the incorrect lane to make an on-ramp or a timmies or something.

    Personal Rules for riding...

    1) always take a double left turn from the left most lane 2) assume every driver is on the phone 3) it's ok to wave at scooters now that e-bikes make them look talented.

Why you should never ride slow on the highway.

I find that trucks rarely move around for no good reason. Their actions can tell you a lot. But then again the driver of the car got himself into a situation where they had no hope of responding correctly.

    Hwy 403 west of mavis

A friend was right behind this one. A car pushed the bike into the HOV lane where it bounced off another vehicle and basically pinballed back and forth before going down. GWS rider, apparently full gear was involved.

This is Why our Isurance is so high - another idiot on the road.

tl;dr but at the 25 second mark the car with the camera was being a bit of a tailgating jerk.

YOU DROP IT, YOU BUY IT...female buyer's test ride...

Good on the buyer for owning up and then taking the bike. It wouldn't surprise me if most jerks would leave it where they dropped it and just walk home.
