Is there a way to get an extension on M2 licence?

Can anyone confirm this? I just called, and they told us to go to the drivetest centre. The woman barely knew what I was talking about.

    2007 ZZR250 suddenly won't idle

Background: 2007 250cc carbbed ZZR250. We purchased it new in April 08 when they were clearing them out for cheap after they launched the 08 Ninjas. We didn't know it, but when we brought it home for my wife she was already preggers. Between us, we put just under 6000 kms on it (I'd drive it...

    Why I quit riding motorcycles.

Every time I dump a bike I need to force myself back on. Its usually dirt bikes, and I jump right back on or I wouldn't get on again ever. If I took a 5 or 10 year break like this guy did after a serious fall, I doubt I would ride again either.

    air pump

If you have any Ryobi tools, Home Depot is clearing out their little One+ compressors that fill up bike tires and air mattresses. I bought 2 I loved the first so much. $30, but comes with no battery and charger.

    299 in Victoria driver CHARGED

Ok, this post is a little funny. Here is some lovely early morning YouTube of a head on. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=xkk7DX0l95A&Lid=12

    A loud pop

My ZX6 with a Hindle aftermarket backfires almost every time I start it. Of course, I use the kill switch on the way into the garage at night to avoid waking up my kids. And that YouTube video could be the lamest thing I ever saw. I would have stuck a broom handle in his front tire if I was...

    299 in Victoria driver CHARGED

I would think hitting the back of a car at 150 km/hr (or driving 250 and hitting a car going 100, same diff) would look a little like this picture. The fact is that hitting a car with a car would be very different than with a bike. The bike would centre all the force into a small space (like a...

    299 in Victoria driver CHARGED

An acquaintance of mine from high school did something very much like this in 1992ish. He was doing 150-180 km/hr on a SS on town streets over a blind hill and hit the back door of a turning, almost stationary Honda Accord. He spun the car around 3 or 4 times according to witnesses, and his...

    299 in Victoria driver CHARGED

I'll be happy to help out my kids with their cars as my parents did for me. I'll also do the same for a bike my parents did which was make me stand on my own. This has the added benefit of them having to be older to afford it, and hopefully wiser.

I loved the part about his big bad R1 being registered to his Mommy.

    Rider down

Well, that's a slap in the face. Kudos to the DUI driver for going the extra mile.

A warning about beer and riding an SS: I learned a hard lesson :(

Canned beer (with very few exceptions) is also cheaper per litre than any other way (after returns are calculated). Kegs are the worst with no exceptions.

First off, yes this is super dangerous and blah blah blah but its also interesting (sitting here at my desk vs being passed by him) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIUTXIsJz3o Second, they found him. http://www.theprovince.com/Charge+laid+spree/6921739/story.html

    family tensions

I had a similar experience. I had been wanting and asking for a bike since I was 12 or 13 (grew up rural) and we had sleds. My Dad bought a 4 wheeler to shut me up, but then my neighbour 2 doors down got some dirt bikes so I would ride the 4 wheeler over to his house and ride the dirt bikes...

Helmets with built in sun visor?

I used to have an HJC but dumped it as I found, more than anything, that air flow was greatly constricted due to the large piece of plastic in the helmet. It was more of a novelty than something I actually used. I have sensitive eyes, and found that I needed sunglasses when I got off the bike...

Increase Ontario 400-series Highway Speed Limit

Dynamic is totally the way to go. I used to drive the Brantford/Burlington corridor everyday, and in the dead of winter in my 4x4 safety cage with good tires, I was fearful of going over 60 km/h. Then on other days on the bike I felt like 160-180 would be a more appropriate speed limit. In...

Battery - Fit ZX6 and Artic Cat Sled?

Well, you have convinced me to try it with my bike, so no harm in getting a good one for it and trying it in the sled. If it doesn't work, I'll go buy a NiCad for the sled. No harm, no foul. Cdn source?

Battery - Fit ZX6 and Artic Cat Sled?

I don't think you can use a battery tender product on those batteries though, can you? If they do have a longer life with less discharge, I'll buy 3 of them and put them in all the sleds this weekend. Also, Cdn source?

Damaged package from UPS, No Insurance???

We used to use Purolator at a Power Tool Company I worked for to ship parts to end users when speed wasn't an issue. We never insured anything, as the parts were worth so little to us that when they lost the occasional package we were ok as they charged so little compared to the other companies...

Battery - Fit ZX6 and Artic Cat Sled?

Panthers of this vintage (we have a 93 and 2 94's) are air cooled 440 Suzuki engines. The ZX6 is a 599. I am thinking this is a good solution just for the weekend, but my dream of using my rec vehicles batteries summer and winter probably won't work. I figure I can stuff it into the sled for...
