I'm not riding. I'm getting insurance for my bike in 2 months (after I turn 21 in may). Got my bike a year ago and found out you need to be either 21 or have M1 for a full year. Didn't have either.
You will never get caught doing this. I was told to do this by my driving instructor.
I don't actually do it myself. I don't even have insurance for my bike yet, nor any friends that live in those areas.
I have a question about the 5 year G license thing. If I've had my G1 for 4 years then get my G2 on the 5th year would that count as 5 years for G? How about if I get my G after 5 years of G1/2?
I'm also 20 with M1 and I'll share some stuff I've learned with you.
1. Those quotes you got with Duffy are both 1 payment only. Have fun with that.
2. Those quotes you got from TD, and I'm not too sure of this but just a heads up in case, are probably only until the end of the season (until...
If your son got his M1 at 19 he can go with Jevco in a year. He'll be looking at around $3K for something around 600cc (not SS). It will also be lower then year after that.
Had I know to get my M1 years ago I would have. Why does no one say that you won't be able to find insurance AT ALL until...
I cant find anything less than $7k... Theres one with some other company at $4k (I would take that in a heartbeat right now) but it requires 1 full payment. F this. I already bought my bike.
$6500 for bodywork on a bike? If you were to cut up all the bodywork into pieces and put them in a shoe box it still wouldn't cost anywhere near that to put them back together.
I'm also interested in this. I need a $ ballpark figure. How much would 2 rims cost to powder coat? I don't want to waste time finding out it's going to cost $500.
Be careful how you deal with those situations. Like everyone said, if you try to protect your belongings from a thief/vandal you may end up in jail. Stupid how the world works.
