you obviously enjoy your xb12. I had a the Blast as my first bike and that sucker was indestructible. Maintenance was very minimal and the bike just started up fine after a highside and parking lot drops. Do you find that the xb12 is a hard kunt also?

it's definitely doable to start on the 650. Just take your time, there is no rush at all.
