Not sure how this is priced compared to other KTM RC8R's but I quote "i use slicks on the road cuz they stick better". Wonder if he plugs the warmers in at Timmies? http://london.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-motorcycles-sport-bikes-2011-ktm-rc8r-W0QQAdIdZ478403444
Obviously no need to give all the details but seems as though you done something in trust? Buy now pay later? Just trying to think how one would get themselves in a position to be out 4g's. Sucks nonetheless...
So according to Asphalt & Rubber:
Lorenzo "It's one of the most difficult tracks to learn"
Cal had a flight cancellation and saw the track for the first time last night (drove around on a scooter in the dark and tweeted "Couldn't see much but if you learn in the dark, surely should be good in...
Lack of credit card might actually hurt you in this situation, as lenders typically want to see history of different types of credit (open line of credit, loans with monthly pay schedules, credit card usage etc). I know exactly the position you're in as I will be in the same situation next...
Just found this gem. I'm not an expert on Chinese/Japanese writing so I don't know where this is taking place but talk about no run-off... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3Rb3z_y6W8
Sure it was for publicity but there's pictures floating around of him on the bike that says "SWAGGER" or something of the like with a helmet on and on the road. Sure none of us consider him a "rider" but I do believe he does indeed operate motorcycles on public roads.
Beiber rides an 848 and a 675. Just sayin? Some people have more money than brains, I'd try to make sure the kid has researched insurance and knows he's going to pay $5000+ (my estimate) provided he's under 25 which one would assume in this situation taking into account your concern for his well...
And if you're looking for an easy pull clutch, the stunt guys rave about the Righteous Stunt Clutch www.righteousstuntmetal.com/ Not bad pricing, different finishes, bearing options and decent shipping to Canada. Google it, many positive reviews.
http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?169532-2009-Kawasaki-Ninja-ZX6R-Black-7-000kms-Showroom-Condition Felt obligated to post this one... 4 years old, for more than a a new 2012 goes for... It's unfortunate, but upgrades can only add so much value. Obviously he doesn't want to...
Fair enough, more protection is never a bad thing. Just feel the bodywork on his GSXR would give a bit of slide protection, but yes impact protection isn't there with the stock cases.
What's the reasoning for the NRC covers? Obviously engine protection is important but by the looks of the GSXR bodywork, your engine doesn't stick out all that much? See my bike for example, when it goes down, engine is first to hit. If I had bodywork like yours, I don't think I would worry...
My understanding of backing it in was when the rear goes off axis from the front tire on corner entry, the spin-out on exit usually goes hand in hand with "powerslide" terminology. You never hear "oh he almost highsided from backing it in".
Regardless, Suzuki may have the advertisements but...
Was there any post race press about why the two 675's blew up? Obviously Daytona is very hard on engines but does that say something about reliability of the 675 when I believe 3 of them didn't last?
Sorry, did you buy a plane to go to the GP? What is the reason for mentioning the 8 grand figure? That sure would be nice to fly anywhere and have car waiting for you, not really feasible for the average joe though..
