After installing the first valve on the head of my '72 (ish) CB750 I realized that both inner and outer springs have two tighter coils on one end. My feeble brain can't see that it should make any difference but I'm pretty sure it does. Which end should go up with the keepers.

A guy mailed me a rear brake caliper for my Wing that he took off a parts bike he had. After using grease to push the pistons out I found that someone had done work on this caliper before me. The square profile piston seals had been replaced with O rings!

I'm going to be using sections of 2" muffler pipe for the ends of my exhaust. Standard muffler clamps with the "U" bolt and saddle will look big and ugly in this application. Gear clamps might work if I slit the end. That seems a hacker method and the slits could leak. Anyone know of an...
