here in ONtario I've noticed all demo rides switched to "Charity events" - I think all of them require to "donate" $50 min now, I think "charity" label allows them to avoid having "new bike rental services" taxes (?) and if they only give 1% to charity, the rest can cover their costs - GP Bikes...
