Has the city lost it's mind...

How`s that even possible? The courts told him to stay home and possess no firearms. :p

    Reverse mortgage...redux

Appreciate the heads up, that`s all vital stuff. Everything you`ve mentioned and then some has been in place for at least 15 years, revised as needed. Funeral/cremation/burial paid for too. I`ve seen the living hell someone goes thru when it`s all dumped on you and you don`t even know where to...

    2026 GTA Photo Tag!

If you haven`t seen it, take a look at the You tube videos of chaseontwowheels. He did one on the Rebel 1100T DCT, don`t think they get the standard one in the States currently. Yours is the DCT?, hard to see a clutch lever in those pics. He has covered a ton of bikes, I like his easy going...

Alan Ritchson motorcycle incident and fight

Looking around at those houses and the neighborhood I`d say Taylor has more money than common sense. Himself being a motorcyclist, how is jumping out in front of a moving vehicle ever a good idea? It probably wouldn`t have been too difficult to get a cop out to a big bucks area to file a complaint.

    2026 GTA Photo Tag!

I like your bike, on and off thought about one for a couple years. Had a chance to check the range on a tank of gas yet? Honda claims good fuel mileage but that tank ain`t much bigger than an old 883 Sportster tank. Any other add ons apart from the passenger seat/backrest and pegs too?

    How`s your house pricing doing?..

Where about are you looking at a condo? Speaking about concrete and salt...remember the collapse of the Florida, Miami/Surfside condo a while ago where the underground garage was so compromised and crumbling, gave out and down we go. That killed 98 people.

    Reverse mortgage...redux

Good, bad, right or wrong,... that`s how I ended up. No wife/GF or kids. It`s my decision what happens next, I`m it. I know three families who have adult kids circling like buzzards waiting for the parents to drop. It looks more and more like kids aren`t always a reciprocal thing, maybe they`ll...

    Reverse mortgage...redux

Yup,...and with the reverse mortgage you could get a real curve ball on your 10 year home value following your last payment. I think I`ve mentioned my place has dropped by 80K or so...Y/Y. Someone pointed out the RBC calculator, perhaps you, is rather inaccurate. So who knows.

    Reverse mortgage...redux

Right now I`m just sitting tight. Reviewed my financials a number of times, I`m good. My original post was June of `25 and as we all see the country and world has gone to Hell in a bucket, I doubt I`m buying a big ticket MV or CVO Harley bagger in the near future. I have looked at cashing out...

    Hwy 35 - Pontypool Rd.

On Fri. April 3rd, bike and pickup. Seems the rider rear ended the truck, got the chopper ride to a Toronto area hospital. Cops investigating, rider with serious injuries.

    I, too, did a thing

I had a good rip on one years ago, fun bike on tight twisties. Did they throw in a milk crate? What`s the latest on that doo-hickey balancer thing that`s been discussed forever.

Looking at that I always think of the huge outdoor show Thin Lizzy played there in `78.

    What about a motorcycle's age?

Makes perfect sense...I can insure a new Hayabusa for the same as a new Harley Low Rider S.

Fuel prices. $40 fill up for CB500f !!!

It`s become obvious he had no idea what he was getting into with Iran. Probably never considered the effect on global prices and America. Play stupid games....

Fuel prices. $40 fill up for CB500f !!!

Set the wayback machine...I recall filling my new `73 CB350 four at about 35 cents/gallon, around 11 cents/L. Under 2 bucks a tank, of course my p/t job was about $1.65/hour.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

It`s totally plain to see that unions, just like governments, exist only for their benefit, nothing else. When I worked for non-union companies I worked hard and was treated very well, never saw any union shop shenanigans(good word that), that rewarded lazy and drunk.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Whenever I worked for a company that was unionized I figured I worked for the company, not the union. The unions I saw protected the lazy, useless, scammers, drunks, druggies etc. Dragging this out is delaying the inevitable for CP workers, seems the farther it goes the less well it ends for them.
