    Weather

I remember a few years ago (was it Wonderland?) they had those misting stations and they worked surprisingly well. I have a cooling vest that I picked up one year on summer trip out west. It worked well when you get over the wet dripping feeling when you first put it on until you start moving...

I always get oil and other stuff during this sale. Don’t forget to make sure you are well over the $59 free shipping minimum as the tax discount may put you under that and then you pay shipping.

    Weather

Just got back from a 2 hour ride. I was so lucky very few red lights and little traffic, kept moving and wasn’t hot. Then I stopped to fill up. The sweat was filling up my glasses. Days like this I think early morning or evening rides are the best. Take water with you if you can.

There should be an E with a number, my Shark has E11 (in a circle) sewn on the chin strap, perhaps your is in a similar place? My AGF had a DOT sticker on the back of the helmet but also an E3 (in a circle) on the the chin strap as well.

What did you do in your garage today..?

works better without water to get the stubborn stuff off, then the nail brush and wash off, dry off with wife's favourite white towel. If you remember, try scratching a bar of soap with your nails to fill them in before the grease does. It worked the one time I remembered to do it.

I was thinking this looks too familiar to be Milton/Mississauga. Sad decision by Ford for such a great place that I spent so much time in. A gift location from the Westies!

Ride Report - 2026 Scenic Butt

Looks like a great day for a great ride. Thanks for posting this up and the inspiration! Wonderful pictures. Did the KTM390 have trouble keeping up with the bigger bikes? I know nothing about KTMs.

What did you do in your garage today..?

When I changed to summer tires on of them was down 10 lbs lower than the others. I should have clued in. I checked it every couple of weeks and it didn’t seem to lose more than a pound or two. Last week I noticed it was low and needed 5 ln to top up. Today it was down another 3. Took it off and...

    Wear all day riding pants

I bought a similar pair, they were Mike Holmes and had knee pockets for pads, that fit a set I had, I felt although thicker than jeans, there would be very little abrasion resistance and gave them away after a season.

    Wear all day riding pants

That Doodle video really made me think about knee pads. I bought a set of used BMW kevlar jeans, they are hot when stoped during the heat a couple of weeks ago. The knee pads sit in an inside velcro pocket, so not easy to take out once you get to work.
