I ride all year round rain and shine in all kinds of weather (I try and avoid riding when there is ice and snow on the road. Don't always succeed.) My current gear has works for me from -18c up to +38c (-18 for an hour or so, -10 all day) Aerostich Roadcrafter R3 goes over everything else...

It takes less than 20 seconds to lube the chain if you have a centerstand. ..Tom

Lube with every tank of gas and after every ride in the rain. Never "clean" the chain. Using Wurth HHS2000 (Althiugh I don't think the brand used is that important.) I worked up to it over 600,000 km of riding. This is not reading what some internet "expert" has said but real world experience...

Drivers/riders should almost always treat left turns at intersections as "late Apex" anyway. It's safer. This just forces drivers/riders to do so. ..Tom
