How are these holding up, especially from shifter wear? That seems to be the area that wears out on all of my boots long before the soles or anywhere else.
I just found out my niece's boyfriend went to school to train as an electrician, but couldn't get an apprenticeship and is now just working construction. Seems like a waste to have gone through that training for nothing. Are electrician apprenticeships hard to get? I was under the impression...
I wouldn’t be surprised if that fixed it. The very first time I ever had a central AC problem, I was expecting a hefty but fair fee since a friends brother was in the business. He came by and said the problem was just dirt/grass all over it from my neighbor moving his lawn (my side was gravel)...
Appreciate it, but don't worry about it. I was thinking of buying something last night but didn't have time and now I'm in a mad rush to pack for a trip.
Anyone have the current paper catalog and can look up the discount code? I have 3 of them here somewhere, but now that I want to buy something, I can't find a single one!
This probably should go in the "What are you doing to the house" thread, but I can't find it and it and this is more of a mechanical repair than a renovation, so here it is.
As we were watching TV last night I noticed I was getting warmer and warmer. Next thing you know, I see a missed email...
I cringe whenever I see someone do a kickstand spin. Fine for a steel kickstand bolted to a steel frame, but I have some various combinations of lightweight cast aluminum kick stands and/or bolted directly to the aluminum engine case.
True, but it's always best to buy the actual one someone has had good experience with. Most may come from the same factory, but not always, and you can end up with some real garbage. Which is also why you see mixed feedback on apparently the same product - because of the way Amazon consolidates...
I had a chance to test the Noco 5 and found similar issue, but the Noco looked like it was charging and eventually lit up the green LED solid. But as soon as you tried to draw any power from it, it was dead. At least the CTEK complained about not being able to charge it.
It also wasn't able to...
I was working at a client site when one of the guys commented about how my 748 was leaned over a lot. I thought he was talking about the natural exaggerated lean so I brushed him off. Then I got outside... The stand had sunk so far in I swore the bike was on its side, but miraculously was still...
Yes, the government requires all "hidden costs" to be disclosed now, except the tax and license fee. But Harley's freight and PDI still manages to be more expensive than Honda's, even though they're coming from Milwaukee and not across the ocean.
I use this ram ball mount to replace on of the mounting bolts. Then your choice of phone mount. I'm still a fan of their X-Grip, never had a problem with mine. I think the people who had a phone slip out was because of a slippery glass phone body and no case to help keep it in place.
I found this out at the beginning of the year (and apparently it was old news even then) when I was trying to upgrade an ancient laptop to run ISTA for my BMW. Thought it would be cheaper to add a 500GB SSD and 8GB of ram, but ended up finding a used Lenovo X13 Yoga Gen2/16gb/512GB /i7 for not...
