    2026 Weekly BurgeRR Meetup - Wednesdays @7pm

I haven't been riding too much in the city, but definitely want to come out for a few burger nights...hopefully I'll make it to some of the upcoming ones, and check out all the new bikes you ballers got this season.

    Soccer/football thread 2022

Some friends who follow football mentioned exactly this on a common whatsapp group lol. Such a great sport ruined by rampant corruption. Now they don't even try to hide it. I have lost any interest to follow a club or a national team these days. I enjoy some highlights here and there. Also, I...

Ride42 - Track day report from Grand Bend June 22, 2026

I believe cruisers are not allowed on track days, or I haven't heard. They're not meant to be track ridden. Thanks for sharing your experience, sounds like you had a great time. I was looking at Ride42 but had to back out due to logistics and bike issues. 6 year old tires sound risky, but a...

Mexico's Batman taping up motorcycle thieves

Showed up on my feed a couple of times. Would be nice to have someone like that here, given that cops don't really care about motorcycle thefts. Also, that's a lot of tape. A 'Mexican Batman' Vigilante Is Catching and Taping Up Alleged Motorcycle Thieves

    Demo Days at GP

I was at PowerSport TO this morning. I wasn't doing much today and though why not, and I had registered. I actually ended up riding all the 3 bikes they had for a demo. Not writing a full-blown review like @PacoT . Rode the Daytona 660 first, then the Trident 660, and finally the STriple. The...

Fusebox won't close due to the fuse tap - suggestions

It's not that big, pic below from the internet. As a temp fix, an old piece of tube should work, just to seal it for now. I should have added, this is for a 2007 FZ6. The GPS wiring came with a 2A inline fuse. so you mean just run the positive directly to the source side of one of the...

Fusebox won't close due to the fuse tap - suggestions

I got a used garmin this season and used a fuse tap to wire it. Everything's great except the fusebox won't close. The bike uses a mini fuse. I could have gotten a low profile mini fuse which would have made it easier, though I'm not sure if it would have fit given the lack of space. The low...

    2026 Rides

It's a nice cruise. Mostly find cruisers along the way and understandably so. Would recommend on a day when you're feeling like taking it easy.

    2026 Rides

My preferred route is NOTL to Chippawa, and to Old Fort Eerie alongside the water. Something like this. https://maps.app.goo.gl/dE3oXCz4BDQ4hR4N6 But yesterday skipped NOTL and rode to the falls directly and then followed the niagara river pkwy to Chippawa and to Fort Eerie. :)

    2026 Rides

Yesterday was a gorgeous day. Did a 2up to the west of the city. The last time I did that route was 4-5 years back on my sv. To niagara and from there to old fort eerie. There was a 1812 war re-enactment at fort eerie, so stayed for that. Pretty cool. That route happens to be one of the most...

    2026 Rides

Took the bike out for the first time this season. Street riding has reduced quite a bit and was the topic of thought during the ride. My usual season opener route is the river rd run. 400 up north, exit at King, ride country roads to hockley, mono, river rd, and back. I used to go up to...

    Not worth the risk

I'd suggest getting a cbr125 or similar, getting insurance on it, and parking it. Don't let the insurance history lapse in case you want to start riding in the future.

    Another thing too

Not knowing why you got a bike is a good enough reason lol. Congrats on the bike. Glad that you and the bike stayed upright. Crazy that it would happen riding a new bike home but glad you made it safe.

Congrats @sburns on the bike! Wishing many happy miles on the bike. See you out there :)

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Maybe not handy or doesn't have the time or doesn't care enough? An assumption, looking at the truck he's probably a trades guy working a busy job? 5-6 years ago when covid hit, I got the SV and it was from a guy working trades doing 12 hour shifts. Was saving up for a house (or something like...
