What did you do in your garage today..?

Stop at LCBO and get some Tyskie, take a nice break and relax a bit [emoji16]. If your bad stretch continues, you will be shopping for new transmission shaft assembly by the weekend [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

What did you do in your garage today..?

Zoom in the photo, you can see some loose chunks inside the shifter split - not sure if the shifter is messed up or the threads? Try to find replacement bolt size (threads and length) from the parts diagram. What did you use on the bolt - channellocks or pliers? :)

Isn't GM already rebadging 1990's vehicles as 2020's? When was the last time they changed something other than lights and grill? Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com mobile app

Fair point, but I know folks who can easily afford 2 of these just with free CERB money. Buy 2 - problem solved. ;)

2021 Honda Trail 125 ABS - would you buy one ?

Unfortunately I don't expect this little scoot to be available in Canada - I would definitely get one. Around $4000 in States, juts buy one and keep it in the crate as an investment :) https://ridermagazine.com/2020/11/30/2021-honda-trail-125-abs-first-ride-review/

    Afghanistan has fallen

Darwin award recipients. They are not desperate, just dumb. With no schooling, no internet, no common sense, understanding how things work is just not there. If they can cling on top of the moving train and survive, they think same applies to airplanes. Don't call them brave either, they leave...

It sounds great if you enjoy what you do - buy it is hard work. Talked to my hvac friend installing furnaces /ac units - one install/ day, mostly inside work, self employed. Some units cost him under $2K from supplier, he installs them for $4K average. Clean money. Sent from my iPhone using...

    What's a fair price?

Yes, Quebec origin is always a weak selling point. I would price it at $2500 certified, $2200 "As Is" and see what happens. These 650s are not very popular, for the same money you can buy many other bigger metric cruisers (Volusia/C50/Vulcan etc).

Is no ABS a deal breaker on a first bike?

Just buy that white bike, enough talking, this debate will drag for another 5 pages and get you nowhere. People managed to ride non-abs bikes and cars for decades, and still do. Get some miles under your belt, and when you upgrade, get one with abs. Sent from my iPhone using GTAMotorcycle.com
