    First dirt bike

Yeah. I think when I'm too old to ride a dirt bike I'll grab a trials bike and come out to the lemon party.

    Safety a Motorcycle in Winter

To properly check the brakes I would say riding it is a must. I've gone to places where they never rode it, and I've gone to places that ride it up and down the side of the building. But I've never been to a place that takes it out on the street.

    First dirt bike

Ok, we get it, Trials riding is the best there ever was and everyone HAS to do it!!! I don't know if you guys mean to come across like that, but you remind of the old joke about vegans (don't have to ask if they are, they'll tell you). Buying a bike with the ownership is definitely preferred...

Inter-provincial trade - cross border beer case reaches the SCC

I just heard a brief thing on CBC about this. I had no idea you weren't allowed to take alcohol across provincial borders. I just assumed since you don't stop at a crossing with a guard it didn't matter, lol.

    Dual Sport Insurance

I pay the exact same amount for my '07 CRF250X (was offroad only), as I did for my '07 KLX250S.

    Dual Sport Insurance

37 yr old in Brampton, full M for over 5 years, paid $680 for an 07 KLX250 from TD. Most of it will have to do with where you live.

Who is spooning there own rubber?

Re: Who is spooning their own rubber? You're referring to the TMT original, which I always regretted not getting in on for that group buy. But I was lucky enough have a buddy grab one. Check the link out and you'll see they have come a long way, and the price has gone up quite a bit, lol.

    Water Tank Competition

Nope. I only race with SCR and OO. It was just a fun day at Moto 86.

    Water Tank Competition

Lol. Well I am a tad sore from a crash Monday at the MX track. But it's been awesome so far. I came to work and haven't felt the need to solicit votes for doing what I'm paid to do.

    Water Tank Competition

That's ridiculous. I have a disdain for people that post places asking for everyone to vote for their ****. The best one should win, period. Maybe a better picture of the Wasaga one would show more, because all it looked like to me is a sphere with some different coloured paint on it.

    Water Tank Competition

I voted for the Gaffney one. I don't see what the big deal is about the Wasaga one.

    Registering a new(?) bike

OP. The first thing I would definitely do is go to Service Ontario of course. See if you can get a UVIP for it at all. You never mentioned (I think) how you know it was never registered in Canada. Run the VIN through here http://app.cpic-cipc.ca/English/searchformvin.cfm

Yeah. You're right. 45mins was really long to stand at a counter......... Lol

    Registering a new(?) bike

This happened to me but with a dirt bike. Basically KTM Canada imported it, but never registered it in the country. I went to Service Ontario and walked away with an ownership in about 45mins. Basically the girl kept telling me there was nothing I could do, and I kept asking her to tell me...
